This information is to support the SQA prelim and exam process for 2024 and provide some key information about effective revision. The revision skills presentation is taken from last year’s online meeting but is still 100% relevant and contains a wealth of handy hints and tips for parents and pupils!

Q: Will anyone have 2 exams on the same day?
A: The final SQA timetable for 2024 can be viewed here – 2024 Exam timetable revision 4 031023.indd (sqa.org.uk). We will try to avoid any pupil having more than one prelim on the same day. Any pupil with a clash on their prelim timetable should go and see Mrs Mercer.
Q: Do National 4 courses have an exam?
A: No – National 4 courses are assessed differently. There are no national 4 exams in the prelim or final SQA exam diet.
Q: When will pupils get their individual prelim exam timetable?
A: We plan to distribute them at the beginning of the last week of term.
Q; Do we need to buy past papers?
A; All SQA past papers available online for free from SQA website.
